Why recycle
Scientists warn that average-sized battery can poison around 20 square meters of soil or 400 liters of water! This impact on the environment arises from toxic heavy metals such as lead, nickel, cadmium, and mercury, as well as alkali substances like sulfuric acids, all of which are harmful to the environment and pose significant risks to human health. They cause nervous disorders, brain, lung, kidney, liver, bone diseases, provoke cancer, cause skin burns and even lead to blindness. Thus, a battery thrown into the trash is akin to a ticking time bomb. Once it begins to decompose, it releases a new wave of poison into the world!
Our mission…
We believe we all can unit in a shared commitment of creating a better Earth free of hazardous waste by fostering a circular economy and minimizing environmental impact.
And that's why BUVEM was created!
BUVEM is revolutionizing battery recycling by developing innovative technology that optimizes the battery collection process, reducing their release into the environment, while at the same time contributing to the cultural development of society.
We aim to drive positive changes through cohesion and innovation, leading the way to more green and safe World!
The user opens the mobile application and logs into the account.
After logging in, the QR code opens. The user places it in front of the vending machine's QR code reader, and the machine authenticates and confirms the user.
After user confirmation, the cell opens for collecting batteries, and the user throws batteries into the vending machine.
The vending machine weighs the battery and checks its type to avoid accepting non-battery items. After confirmation, the "Finish" button activates for the user to click.
Depending on the batteries type and quantity the machine rewards points to the user.
Collected points can be exchanged for tickets to cultural places or for shopping coupons.
